Data Policy
Scope
This policy covers research datasets published on RDL Hub — the files themselves, their descriptive metadata, and the listings built on top of them.
Uploader responsibility
Researchers who publish a dataset confirm that they hold the rights to share it, that it contains no data they are not permitted to distribute, and that human-subject data has been anonymized in line with the approvals governing the original study.
Personal data in datasets
Datasets must not contain directly identifying personal data (names, national IDs, contact details) unless the uploader has an explicit legal basis and states it in the dataset description. We remove datasets that violate this on notice.
Storage and availability
Files are stored on redundant object storage and served through time-limited download links. We may withdraw a dataset from public view while a rights or ethics complaint is investigated.
Takedown requests
Rights holders can request removal of a dataset by writing to info@rawdatalibrary.net with the dataset link and the basis of the claim. We acknowledge requests within 2 business days.
